MOHITS BREAK-UP: DON JAZZY CONFIRMS SPLIT

Well, there you have it. The rumours have been confirmed by the Don himself, and we finally get to hear from him, Don Jazzy. On Saturday morning, Don Jazzy took to twitter and confirmed that some of the media reports that have been making the rounds about him and D'banj going their separate ways is true.His twitter statement reads:


“Good day friends. So sorry I have been away for long as I have been going through some changes in my life. It is with a heavy heart that i announce the end of a long Era and the beginning of a new one some of the Rumours you have all heard recently are sad but true. The way forward now is to make sure I keep bringing you guys more of the beautiful music y’all love to dance to. And to end the old era I will be donating d proceeds of my production catalogue from day 1 till date to 5 charity organizations. Thanks.

Don Jazzy and D’Banj were former members of JJC and 419 squad in the United Kingdom before they broke up with that group to form Mohits, which is the most successful contemporary music label group in Nigeria.

So what next for Don Jazzy? What next for D’Banj? What happens to their deal(s) with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music?  So many questions, not enough answers. Only time will tell. Please let us know your thoughts on this  sad news.
