HULK HORGAN COMING TO NIGERIA

ONE of the world’s most celebrated professional wrestlers, American Hulk Hogan will be among the international wrestlers that will feature in the maiden Rotimi Chubuike Amaechi, RCA Wrestleforce Extravaganza.
Speaking at the press briefing to the unveil the programme, Coordinator of the championship, Prince Hameed Olanrewaju also listed former world champion, Rick Flair as another top fighters that will be part of the tournament.
He said that the competition would hold in two senatorial districts in Rivers State, and it will feature over 300 wrestlers across the globe.
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) chaired by Anthony Banigo, has been constituted to organise a befitting competition to honour the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi for his contribution to sports development in the state.
“We are in fruitful discussion with Hulk Hogan for him to be the Match Commissioner and Rick Flair as the Ringside Judge for the championship,” Mohammed, a former national champion said.
“Other notable wrestlers coming for the event include Chris Bambikiller Raaber of USA, Headshrinker Alofa (USA), Marimitsu (Japan), Rosto Poulet (France), Giant Dee (Mexico), Big Boss (Australia), Loco Mason (Wales), Brody Steele (Canada), Auraora Singh (India), Ridvan Faraq (Kuwait), Noudeen Michael (Angola) and Michael Kovac (Hong Kong).
“We also have Big Daady who will be coming from California, USA, Bad Bone (Germany), Banilux Bulldog, a Scottish wrestler, who won the 1st BRF Wrestlemania in 2011 in Lagos, Maximum Capacity (USA), Dynamite Solution (USA), Big Dog Bite (Cameroon), while the current Nigerian champion, Rushing Belt, who won the 2nd BRF Wrestlemania last December will lead all Nigerian wrestlers to the tourney,” he said.
LOC boss, Banigo said that the tourney is going to showcase the rich culture of Rivers State to the world after what Agbani Darego achieved during her reign as the most beautiful woman in the world.
“We want the world wrestlers to feel the hospitality of the government and people of Rivers State and more importantly that we have a good governor who is doing great things in Rivers State. Necessary contacts have been made to facilitate the coming of the wrestlers. We did the two editions of BRF Wrestlemania with success and I believe the RCA Wrestleforce Extravaganza won’t be a different,” Mohammed said.
