TIWA SAVAGE SIGNS MULTI-MILLION NAIRA ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH PEPSI



R&B-Pop singer Tiwa Savage has landed herself a major endorsement deal with popular beverage company Pepsi, a deal we are told is worth a couple of millions of Naira.
This endorsement deal was inked about a month ago with her management company 323 Entertainment. headed by Tunji ‘T-Billz’ Balogun about a month ago. The deal sees the 32-year-old follow the likes of pop singer Ashionye who was endorsed as the face of ‘Pepsi Light’ back in 2007.She joins mega-rap star Nicki Minaj, who also recently inked a multi-million dollar deal with Pepsi, Nicki is the new international face of Pepsi, while Tiwa is proudly carrying the flag of Africa.

Other Pepsi stars who had gotten such endorsements in the past are the likes of Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Janet Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Aishwariya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan.
Tiwa who has only  3 singles ever released- Kele Kele Love, Love me, Love me Love me and her collabo with Don Jazzy- Without my heart.  She has always being known in the industry has a prolific song-writer, one of her songs, written for Fantasia got nominated for a Grammy a while back and she has another song out now, written for American Sweetheart- MONICA on her new album- New Life. The song is titled ‘Catch Me’ and it’s one of the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition of the album.


‘Yea, the deal is true, I can confirm that but that’s all I can say for now’, Balogun told NET in a phone conversation. Balogun later explained he signed a non-disclosure agreement with the parties involved. ‘I’m still surprise how the news got out so soon‘, he added.
 
There’s no announcement yet from Pepsi. But an insider tells us there’s the possibility that another Nigerian pop star will be joining Tiwa at Pepsi.
 
Meanwhile it’s big things popping for Tiwa who just yesterday, was announced as a new signee under top notch producer Don Jazzy’s new label outfit, MAVIN Records.
