A Brief History of Seal
  Seal is born to a plumber Francis Samuel and a wig maker Adebisi Samuel
 Usually known just as Seal, this soul singer's full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Kwassi Olumide Adelo Samuel. He was born in London, UK in February 1963 to a Brazilian father and Nigerian mother.
 Though left-handed and has facial scarring from Lupus in childhood, Seal is a hard-worker. During his youth he ever took various jobs, including working at McDonald's, designing leather clothing and electrical engineering, before entering his musical voyage. His interest in music began when he started to sing at a club. He then joined an English funk band Push 
"In the early 1980s Seal completed a degree in architecture, and after various temporary jobs he joined a band called Push. He then traveled to a number of countries including India, where he feels he learned a more peaceful accepting attitude towards life, his career and many other things including his childhood scars.
 At another time when he was in Asia for several occasions, he joined up with a Thailand-based blues band.
 He began to achieve fame in 1990 when, with fellow UK artist Adamski, he co-wrote and recorded the song "Killer".This reached Number 1 and was followed by other successes including "Crazy" (actually recorded earlier.)
 Seal's first album titled "Seal [1991]" was released. It contained the smash hit "Crazy" which immediately ranked 2nd in the UK charts. The single was later covered by heavy metal band Mushroomhead for their 2003 album "XIII." Seal continued to create a national profile, started recording his second album. In between the albums, he took the part on the Jimi Hendrix's tribute album "Stone Free" and was singing on Jeff Beck's version of "Manic Depression." Later in 1994, his second album entitled "Seal [1994]" was put on sale. It enjoyed a worldwide success after the third single 'Kiss from a Rose' was utilized as the soundtrack of 'Batman Forever'. Both the album and the single won 1996 Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year respectively. "Kiss From a Rose,"  in 1995 became #1 in US charts. Not only the success of this track earned Seal an MTV Video Music Award for Best Video from a Film (1995), but also it brought him to win three awards at the 1996 Grammys, mainly for Song of the Year, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Record of the Year categories.
 In the 1990s Seal went through a troubled period, finding it difficult to adjust to the pressures of fame.
He was also involved in a serious car crash and caught double pneumonia soon afterwards. However, he recovered and continued with his career: His most recent album "Soul", was released in November 2008.Seal Samuel married model Heidi Klum in 2005. They have two children, Henry and Johann, as well as Heidi's daughter Helene from a previous marriage. Heidi and Seal are now separated after seven years of marriage

Seal's Scars: Discoid Lupis Erthematosus
As a child Seal suffered from the skin disease discoid lupus erythematosus, which causes inflammation, scarring and hair loss: Www.patient.co.uk It left him with the half-moon scars which can still be seen under his eyes; various rumors used to circulate about these, including a story that they were a form of "tribal scarring", but in fact they are solely the result of this illness. These scars embarrassed and upset him when he was young, but he grew to appreciate them as giving him a distinctive look, a trademark even. He once remarked: "If I could design something, I don't think I could do it better.
